It’s been long we’ve not uploaded our bulk electronic/dance genre updates from our favorite labels. We’ll soon start uploading edm genre music like we used to upload back a year ago. This includes Hindi music too.

Happy New Year! We are here with you in a new year, Its been almost 3 months we’re away from our main genres (EDM) and we have got a lot of mails and messages regarding stopped updates. At this point we’re not able to post any statement about updates. We foresee FrkMusic will last until it stops generating sufficient funds for its own operations.

We’ve seen our exclusive content on other sites/social pages, But we ignored old leaks. But from now on we will ban leakers, We’ve already banned 2 new users for leaking our fresh content (today’s releases) to other sites. To be exact “Reposting our purchases on their own blog/site/social pages”

We have made some changes on site in reponse to our regular user’s “2020 feedback”
The first and most important change is our revenue model, 35% users choose to keep the site running with popup ads, while other 65% find url shortners easy over intrusive popup ads. So we have moved to shortners (you will see ads but only when you download something, not for browsing pages). There will be 1 ad per download. (Max. 5), after 5 shortners, you will not see more shortners during next 24 hrs. Our site still uses direct downloads from our server not external hosts.
There will be no site branding in file’s meta info. (i.e: We will not include “- FrkMusic.Net” following song Title in new files.

Album Title Format:
– Removed Radio from side bar.
Removing popup ad will enhance your browsing experience, and will also help with the site loading speed, Ad view per download is clean and more fair than pushing ads just for browsing/opening pages. It was pleasure to read all the comments, unfortunately we are unable to respond to each and every user because of mass feedback.

We have reached 30000+ collection in our database, making collection bigger and bigger is not our goal, we tend to save unique sounds different than trending charts. We follow more than 300 artists & 80+ labels (for Non-Hindi music) regularly for their new releases.

Now we’re skipping some of releases from ‘Magic Records’, ‘Circus records’, ‘Clout.nu’ (in case if you harvest catalogues, download from other sources.) As most of releases on site, from past few week are just electronic trap, We don’t want to make it more dense on site. Our main focus is on quality and variety in balanced pathway.

In coming weeks, we’re going to add old releases (500+) from label a’lp’, b’kv’ & c’clt’ to our database to make the catalogue perfect, albums will be uploaded chronologically (sort by: release date). So you will not see those albums on homepage/recent updates. We will feature some of those albums in album page’s sidebar.

Here’s database update, we have created new Category for Alternative, R&B/Soul albums. All the Alternative/R&B/Soul tracks which were previously merged in Pop category, now have been moved to their respective genre category.

Recently we’ve gotten expressed concern about the watermark/tag removal, as we posted in former notice. The startling feedback regarding this decision made us re-think and revise it, so we have decided to continue posting the same way as it’s ongoing.
